- Source: U.S. Census Bureau TIGER/Line (area codes: the public HIFLD collection). Public domain: use it, change it, sell it, no permission needed.
- Polygons and lines are simplified to about 100 metres, with neighbours still sharing their edges. Right for state and national maps; for parcel-level work use the official TIGER/Line files or a county package.
