These terms govern your access to and use of CountyGISMaps.com, including free starter packs, paid data packages, dashboards, downloads, and related content. By using the site or purchasing a package, you agree to these terms.

Use of the Service

You may use the service only for lawful purposes. You may not interfere with the site, attempt to bypass access controls, share account access in a way that defeats licensing limits, or use the service to violate the rights of others.

Accounts and Access

Some features require an account or email-based sign-in. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email and account secure. We may suspend or limit access if we believe an account is being misused.

Packages and Licensing

Free downloads are provided for evaluation and general product review. Paid packages are licensed for commercial use, including internal business use, client work, analysis, mapping, reporting, and derivative output unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

That commercial use license is subject to the limits described in these terms, including any embedded source-specific license requirements and the restriction on using the packages to build or operate a competing raw-data website, API, marketplace, or download service.

Commercial Use Policy

Paid packages are intended for commercial use. That includes internal business work, consulting, analysis, mapping, reports, client deliverables, and derivative outputs built from the package contents, so long as the buyer follows any embedded source-specific license terms included in the package documentation.

Some package components may include attribution, notice, pass-through, or reuse requirements from upstream providers. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with any license files, source notes, or documentation included with the package, including where a provider requires that a copy of its license or notice be included in downstream use.

Paid packages may not be used to create, power, seed, or materially support a competing website, API, marketplace, or download service whose primary purpose is to distribute substantially similar county, metro, state, or national data products. You may use the packages in commercial workflows and client work, but you may not use them to duplicate this service, replace this service, or offer the raw package contents or a substantially similar download library as a competing commercial product.

Data Licensing and Provider Notices

The package license governs the compilation and value-added package, but it does not override upstream source restrictions where they apply. Many federal datasets are public domain or broadly public-use, but some package contents come with attribution requests, notice requirements, or more limited reuse posture. Data and Availability

We assemble data from public and third-party sources and work to keep packages current and well documented. Still, data may contain omissions, delays, source changes, or interpretation differences. We may update package contents, formats, structure, and delivery methods over time.

Payments and Refunds

Paid access is granted after successful payment. Because digital products are delivered immediately or made available shortly after purchase, refunds are generally not offered once access has been granted, except where required by law or where we choose to resolve a clear delivery problem.

No Warranty

The service and all downloads are provided as is and as available without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for every specific use case.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, CountyGISMaps.com and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of revenue, data, business, or goodwill arising from your use of the service or any downloaded package.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will apply when posted to this page. Your continued use of the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
